Message from CFDW's President:
A rally to support our candidates, especially women candidates, by holding signs and flags will happen at the Town Hall (84 Main Street) in Cheshire at 11:00 on Saturday, October 13th and whoop it up for an hour. Traffic is always very heavy at that time. There is a huge parking lot behind Town Hall.
Those wishing to stay in Cheshire for lunch will gather together at a local restaurant after the rally.

Spread the word to all the state clubs, please. After the primary, we should alert the candidates too.

Hyatt Place Hotel rates $144 for Friday and $239 or $215 (plus taxes) with AAA/AARP for Saturday night, Breakfast included, free wifi and shuttle bus. 2 Double beds and pull out sofa in room.

Book before October 1, 2018 for the group rate for Friday. After October 1st goes up to rack rate of hotel.

Friday night- Welcome Gathering at Steak Loft Restaurant (around the corner from hotel) from 6 pm to 9pm. There will be live music in the bar. You can come over to relax.

Saturday 9:00 to 12 noon, meeting conducted in the hotel meeting room.

Lunch from 12:30 to 2 at Go Fish Restaurant in Old Mystic Village. Lunch is New England style with a choice of entrée. Speaker to be determined.

Still being planned: We will either have more of the business meeting/program after lunch or free time and then Saturday evening activity with the speaker
